This weekend was dedicated to home visits from the many applications we received from our Ragtag Rescue Adoption Day event last Sunday. We are so happy to announce that forever homes were found. Congratulations to Patrick, Handsome, Spencer and Gina!

We were at Petsmart Mesquite hosting a Mega Adoption Day
Straydog is partnering with Ragtag Rescue (a non-profit mobile adoption service), who will load up many of our wonderful, adoptable dogs at the Straydog campus and transport them in their specially designed transport vehicle to Petsmart Mesquite.
JUANA'S HEADLINE: It was an extreamly busy day. We received applications on Spencer, Gina, Patrick, Sophia and Pinky. Home visits will take place next weekend.

We were at Petsmart Mesquite 19175 LBJ Freeway (635), Mesquite, Tx 75150 from 11 - 3 p.m.
OUR ROSTER WAS: (1) Daylight (2) Handsome (3) C-Stat (4) Genie (5) Jet
DAVID'S HEADLINE: It was a busy day today but no adoptions. Handsome had a meet and greet with one of his soon to be buddies and it went terrific. Next weekend will be his home visit where he will meet the other two dogs in the household. We are all sure it is going to turn out great.

DAVID'S HEADLINE: Sandy was adopted today by Straydog's long time contributors Rodger and Joyce.
Thank you so much for making Sandy part of your family, and congratulations Sandy!
Nina had a meet and greet with Terra & Ryan's dog Sophie, a healer mix, which went great. Home visit is lined up for next Saturday.
Chester and C-Stat also had a meet and greet with Lynne & Eddie's dog Sadie, which went great too. Next Saturday we take them on the home visit to see who Sadie pics to be her companion.

DAVID'S HEADLINE: Sophia and Nina were a big hit. It was Daylight's first time to go to Adoption Day and she enjoyed the outing very much. Handsome and Talena also enjoyed all the attention of our visitors. Pretty busy day but no adoptions.
