JUANA: Last Saturday Linda and Tom Arnold and David Rentz attended the Boat Show.
BILL: The Boat Show was going on Friday too. We didn’t mention that in our Friday show. They set up on Thursday. It started Friday evening and then all day Saturday and Sunday. This coming weekend it is going to be same thing – Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This Saturday they took Spencer and Gina.
JUANA: They only took Chester on Friday evening, because it was a late setup. They just went for a couple of hours.
BILL: I think I was out mowing, so we didn’t get pictures.
JUANA: Actually David left right at 2:00. I fed Chester early, so he could go to the bathroom and be ready for David to pick him and go. I was in the middle of feeding our dogs their afternoon meals, but Chester was ready to go. David just sneaked in and left with Chester.
On Saturday, David wanted to take Spencer and Gina. But as you know, most of our dogs live outside. Spencer was outside rolling around in the sand and dirt. It wouldn’t do any good to bathe him the day before because, as soon as we put him outside, he would just get dirty again. David said that he would leave before 10:00. So right after we fed our dogs their morning meal, which was around 7:00 or 7:30, we gave him a good bath. I asked Melanie to give him a good bath and Wayne helped her get him in the tub. He is such a big dog. He’s probably over 100 pounds. He was a very good boy.
BILL: Does Spencer mind getting a bath?
JUANA: No, he doesn’t. He wasn’t very happy, but he didn’t jump around or anything. He tolerated it. I didn’t get any pictures but, after his bath, we put him in a crate with a fan. About an hour later, I got him out and I brushed him and fluffed him up. He was all fluffy and he looked like a bear. He’s such a beautiful dog.
