Al has been super attached to me lately. He’s always my favorite little snuggler and he lights up my whole day when I get to caregive him.

After much anticipation, the arrival of Straydog’s newest building has become a reality. Our crew and dogs are truly grateful for the gracious donations and countless hours spent negotiating and devising plans for placement and purpose of the building. A special thanks to the many contributors and volunteers working behind the scenes to make it happen as well. Mr. Luigi pictured in Beemer Park doesn't seem to mind the undergoing construction. He's content to carry out his park time as he always does.

Brody is one of the best dogs we have here at Straydog (sadly he can’t be adopted due to food aggression). He’s so smart and handsome, we don’t mind keeping him around and giving him all of our love and patience for the rest of his life, however long that may be.

This mom and daughter duo is Maxi and Jaxi. They love to bark and play. Maxi was very scared and would barely let anyone touch her when she came to Straydog a couple months ago, but now she has blossomed into a sweet playful old girl who would love to have a home of her own. Jaxi however, is not afraid of much and she has a heart of gold. They both have come such a long way since being here at our sanctuary. This is what we do. This is what we love to do. Give dogs like these girls something they may have never had before, love and attention, so that they can be the best they can be and live a good life even at an older age. They still and always will deserve the best.
Caregiver Destiny reports:
Wayne is so funny. He’s quite the character here at Straydog. There’s never a dull moment with this sweet boy. He loves his cookies and will do anything for them.
