JUANA: Happy Birthday, Stacey! It was a beautiful, beautiful day and a good day at Straydog and we had a full crew.
One of the first pictures that we took was of Charlie, our dog with Muscular Dystrophy, enjoying the park.
BILL: That was early -- you can tell by the shadows.
JUANA: It was about 8:30 in the morning.
BILL: Are they in Chip and Betty’s kennel?
JUANA: Yes, and they are getting along great. We have Talena going to Adoption Day on tomorrow’s roster and Nina has a home visit. We didn’t want Chip or Sophia to be lonely, so we put them all together.
BILL: It hasn’t been that long – seven or eight years.
BILL: Yes some of them have been here 20 years and we have worked on different parts of them over the years.
JUANA: No, Cesar had an open wound because it was a bite that got infected. Thankfully, that healed. Luckily, the doctor had enough skin to close Spice’s wound. She’s doing very well and it should heal quickly. She lost about five pounds removing that fatty tumor. I am probably going to have to go to Dr. James and remove my fatty tumors.
BILL: That’s it. We’ll be back soon with another report from Straydog.
