JUANA: It’s nice to be back and doing the shows. I was only in Mexico for five days. I have been here, but not on the show. Every day here is super, super hot – steaming hot. Friday morning was nice. We thought it was going to be a warm, beautiful and settled day, but things happened and we couldn’t believe that they were happening.
BILL: Mornings aren’t usually that bad and it gets up to about 95 degrees in the afternoons.
JUANA: You are probably wondering happened and I will tell you.
Katrina was the walker in the main park, Pat Arnold Park. Jacob was the H2 walker, which is the walker in Shirley Olsen Beemer Park. There’s Katrina bringing Chip and Daylight back to their kennel. They always expect a pat on the head and a cookie for being good, when they get back to their kennel.
This one is blurry.
Barbara is such a wonderful lady. I got to meet Barbara on her first day at Straydog, before I went to Mexico. She came from Michigan to volunteer and help us for a week. She and I have been texting. She wants to adopt Minnie. She is going to call Morton Clinic and find out when she can come and get Minnie. She wants to pay for her heartworm treatments. I haven’t talked to Stacey or Erin yet, but I’ve already told Barbara that she can adopt Minnie. I think we can skip the home visit.
BILL: Okay, we’ll be back soon with another report from Straydog.
