JUANA: It was a beautiful day. I can’t remember, but I know it was sunny, very hot and beautiful and we had a full crew. This was the first picture that we got on Friday. This was going to be Talena’s last day at Straydog. We thought Talena had a home visit scheduled for Saturday. Later on David came down and said that Talena’s potential family had to reschedule the home visit. They had something to do on Saturday. The father is a salesman and he had a big sale on Saturday. They asked if we could do the home visit on Sunday instead. David said that he was excited about going on Sunday. Talena spent one more night with us, but I think she would have been excited to go to her new home. I took a lot of pictures of her with Gina in the Beemer park. Look how big she is. She is a big, beautiful girl.
BILL: That’s probably why your knees are hurting.
JUANA: I was doing walks for about 30 minutes. I took Pokey and Bernie and then I took pictures of Tyler, while they sniffed around and walked. They have 10 minutes in the park and they want to spend their time sniffing. Some of the dogs don’t want attention in the park. They want to spend their time being free and doing what they want to do. Other dogs just want to sit in your lap. Pokey and Bernie like to sniff around.
BILL: That’s it. We’ll be back soon with another report from Straydog.
