JUANA: We have so many new people working here now and it’s going to be hard for you guys to catch up. This young lady, who was working in Pat Arnold Park, is Amanda. She started about three weeks ago and she’s very good. She’s one of our walkers. There she is with Ty and Naomi in the park. She was brushing them.
BILL: It seems like he came to us yesterday.
BILL: With all of the rain that we have had, it could be worse. Thankfully, it seems like it’s less.
JUANA: We are checking the dogs, before they go to the park. That’s what Marissa is doing here. Once she makes sure that they are clear, she takes them to the park.
There’s Ms. Pinky-girl going to the vet. We have already paid for Pinky’s surgery and we are so thankful that Dr. James has learned how to do TPLO surgeries and he can repair ACL knee tears. He only charges $2,500 and it costs almost $4,000 in Dallas.
Dr. James called me, after he finished dental surgery on Terry. He saw several abscessed teeth and he removed them. She is in good shape now.
BILL: That’s why we are trying to build the Master Care Building, so we can bring more dogs in. Some of the young dogs enjoy being outside but, for the most part, the dogs love it indoors.
There’s blind Cesar walking in the park. He’s doing well and he’s getting a little chunky. We might have to put him on a diet.
BILL: We’ll be back again shortly with another report from Straydog.
