JUANA: Yes, Bill. The first picture I took that Saturday, Christmas Eve, was of Murphy.
JUANA: Yes, we want to thank our wonderful volunteers so very much. We would never have been able to find so many of our dogs wonderful homes without their help and support. They do a big, important job every weekend.
You can see that Minnie looks pregnant again, but she’s just gotten chunky.
There’s her kennelmate Mr. Rudy. He was one of Ms. Pat’s originals.
Pokey, Rudy and Jack are the only dogs still alive from Ms. Pat’s originals. Blind and deaf Jack was adopted by the Blanton family and now he’s living a wonderful life and doing so well. He’s spoiled and loved. Pokey and Rudy were never adopted and they will probably spend the rest of their days enjoying their lives at Straydog. They are getting old and slowing down, but they keep on going. This is a beautiful picture of Rudy and Spice looking up at the camera.
BILL: That was Christmas Eve Day. We’ll be back again shortly with the Christmas show.
