Around 7 a.m., I took diabetic Noble for his walk. Noble is sitting by the door ready to go. Then I took Noble on our walk and he’s looking back. I think he sees Charlie the cat coming. There’s Noble by the pond in the sun. There’s a picture of our pond, which is almost full of water now. It never was that high before.
BILL: It’s going to rain again today and tomorrow. There’s Charlie the cat on his way to get a drink out of the pond.
JUANA: Dr. Paulsen said he would never go blind. But it does seem that he doesn’t appear to see that well.
BILL: He and Charlie meet and kiss and then Charlie goes on.
JUANA: Charlie was rubbing on Noble. It’s so cute.
BILL: Three wide receivers with the Denver Broncos were called the “Three Amigos,” years ago.
JUANA: They are Fletcher, Fritz2, and Jazzie2. We already had a Fritz and a Jazzie, but we didn’t have a Fletcher. Unfortunately or maybe not unfortunately, because they are such very good dogs, they have been surrendered to us. Initially we were fostering them for their owner, but he has surrendered them to us. We are going to take them to the vet next week, to get the two boys neutered. They’ve gotten all of their shots. Jazzie2 was spayed, but the two boys aren’t fixed. They really love to go the park. They like to be together, but sometimes Fletcher gets in scuffles with Fritz2 and Jazzie2 tries to help Fritz2. I think Fletcher could be adopted alone, but Jazzie2 and Fritz2 are bonded and they would probably have to be adopted together. Fritz2 is very timid and scared. He’s different and that’s why I think Jazzie2 and Fritz2 will have to go together. We’ll see. While Sherri was doing something else, we helped walk them back to their kennel. They really love the park.
