JUANA: Saturday was a good day and it was hot in the morning. Bill, you were there at 6:00 in the morning and it was already hot.
BILL: It was. It was about 70 degrees.
JUANA: We had a full crew, thank goodness, and Sherri was helping us that day. One of the first photos is of Sherri feeding the Chihuahua gang.
We have a small park that we use exclusively for the H2 dogs. It’s very nice and it’s better than what we had. We now use both doors in H2 to take the dogs outside and the dogs already know the new routine. The dogs use the closest door. They know. They go out there and sniff. Then they go back to the same door and wait to come back inside.
BILL: Unfortunately people find themselves in situations, where they can’t keep their dogs. It’s just too bad.
BILL: Somebody like blind Cesar, who can hear, can go to the park on his own.
JUANA: No, he can’t. We have to put Cesar on a leash to take him to the park or he’d probably run away or run to the office. But he can hear.
Anyway, Henry is doing very well. He has heart failure. Since we brought him inside and put him with Rose, he’s doing better. Like Shep, we had to bring him inside, because he can’t take the heat or the cold of living outdoors. Jack and Jill are doing very well. Jill had a prolapsed rectum and we are doctoring her three times a day, as Dr. Dumeyer instructed, and she’s doing much better. Thank goodness, her boo boo looks a lot better.
