JUANA: It rained early morning Saturday and it was kind of chilly. Everybody had jackets on and I don’t know why Maci and David were wearing shorts.
One of the first pictures we got was of David Rentz getting our doggies ready for Adoption Day. This is Sally-girl.
And there’s Teddy, he’s all wet. It was raining that morning.
And my little Sally.
The bottom line is that this couple visited with Copper, Noel and Sally at Petsmart. They walked each of the dogs and then they went to lunch. They decided that they still wanted Copper and they wanted to do the home visit right then. But we decided to take all three of the dogs to the home visit. I don’t know what happened, but Erin and David told me that Sally was the dog who was adopted. Maria and her husband picked her. We got some cute pictures of Sally in her new home with her new mom. Sally must be so happy to be in such a good home. We know that Copper will find a good home too. He’s such a sweet, beautiful boy.
BILL: This came about, because Handsome was crying. But what happened when Teddy and Copper got back from the Adoption Day event?
JUANA: Portia had been at the vet. We reported that she has diabetes and she wasn’t eating very well. The doctor wanted to keep her for one more day, because she had diarrhea. I had Portia’s kennel available, in case Copper didn’t get adopted and Teddy came back. If Copper got adopted, I could always put Teddy in H2. But they were both coming back and we bleached Portia’s kennel for them. We put Copper and Teddy in that kennel.
