Another message from Juana Arnold:
I wanted to share some more bad news. Our Straydog family is going through a tough time right now. We have lost one of the sweetest doggie ever, our Big Foot. I still remember that day like it was yesterday when coming to work one morning, Snickers and Big Foot were on the street walking along. We never could fine the owners. They both followed me to our shelter and that was it, we had rescued two more beautiful dogs. Big Foot was only 7 years old. This is very young to deal with cancer. A month ago we took him to our vet as Big Foot has been picky and picker at meal time. Yes, our vet found a big mass tumor on his chest and can’t do surgery. We did a biopsy and several days later the doctor confirms it is cancer. Big Foot lasted one month since the day our vet said it's cancer and this was the end for him in this world. There’s nothing that we could have done. Big Foot was everybody's favorite, he was a sweet heart and very gentle. Snickers sure is missing him as we all are here at Straydog. Yesterday, after all our crew members said bye for the last time, Big Foot and I left heading to the vet. It was a very hard decision but it had to be done. Big Foot went to sleep fair quickly after Dr. Morton helped him cross.  R.I.P. Our sweet boy!!
