JUANA: No, it rained that night. It didn’t rain during the day. We had a very sad week. We lost two dogs. And, Gracie Erin passed away on Monday. On Monday morning around 8:30, I received a call from one of our contributors, Teddy, who lives in Denton. Teddy had adopted Gracie Erin and she said that she wasn’t feeling well and she wouldn’t eat. She used to love her morning walks with her other dogs and she wouldn’t even do that. She feared that Gracie Erin’s cancer might have come back and she was planning to take her to the vet that afternoon. Then Teddy texted me that evening and let me know that she had to let her go. Her vet said that it was time. It was a very sad day, because we also lost Portia that day. It was a very tough day.
On Thursday, we followed our normal routine. Jacob was the Beemer Park walker. While he had Jazzie in the park, he went to greet blind Cesar. George had Cesar in the temporary kennel near the front door of H2. The dogs in the big park don’t bark at or bother each other very much through the fence.
BILL: We will be back again tomorrow with another report from Straydog.
