JUANA: It started off chilly and cold. It was 41 degrees in the morning and it got up to 82 degrees and sunny with light winds. We had a full crew.
We’ve started to see fly bites on some of our dogs’ ears. I will have to Google this. Why do some dogs get fly bites and others don’t. The flies are attracted to some dogs and not to others. This has happened for years and years and we don’t know why. Every single year, Tobi’s ears get beat up and they don’t even bother his kennelmate Blondie. It’s the same dogs with this problem every year. It’s strange.
We weren’t working in the kennels and flattening out the dirt. We were just changing water bowls and picking up poopers and cleaning out the hay. We have so many doghouses and getting rid of the hay is a mammoth job. We got lots of pictures.
