JUANA: We do need to talk about rain, when it rains. It is really hot. It was another sunny, pretty day.
Maci was walking Ms. Reyna.
There’s Wayne hooking up the water hose to the bleach mix in Rosita and Purtis’ kennel.
Blanca took their leashes off and Maci set the timer on her phone.
They aren’t as hyper as they were. They usually don’t try to get out. They start purring and want attention. We pet them and love on them.
Ariel is doing very well and she hasn’t had any more seizures. They were running to the gate, to wait to go back inside. They were ready and they started dancing around.
They went right up the ramp.
They walk straight to their kennel in H1.
Then they were waiting for the cookies in their kennel. They love being a pair of inside doggies and they are just so cute.
She has heartworms, so we don’t take her outside for very long. But she never gets excited. She’s fine all night long and she doesn’t run and it’s not that hot outside at night. The puppies love to stay outside. They stay under their shelter. Blanca had to go under their shelter to get them out. They had so much fun in the park. There’s Maci playing with the two puppies. They love it.
There’s Minnie walking around the park. She never runs. She just walks slowly and sniffs. We usually keep dogs with heartworms on a leash, so they can’t run, but not Minnie. She doesn’t run.
There’s Natalie looking at her too. Soullie was just walking around. She is not aggressive and she doesn’t mind. Her brother Luis used to jump on her all of the time. He’s now sharing a kennel with Snickers and he doesn’t jump on Snickers.
There’s Sweet Tart. Doesn’t Sweet Tart look like June? Sweet Tart is smaller.
Benji also has the same markings.
I left June off the leash. Everybody came to her and sniffed her. She was a little nervous and her hair stood up. But they all accepted her and she was okay. I told them to leave her alone and let her be and they did. June growled at puppy PoPo, because PoPo wanted to play with her. June was kind of scared. June looked at her as if to say, “I am not playing with you, little girl.”
They all got along. At this point, I was the only one, who would put her with the H1 Gang. They all listen to me and I was afraid to let anyone else do it. That was last Thursday and anyone can put her with them now. They are totally integrated.
