A small dog in a big world. Even after his abandonment at a animal clinic Jack Jack continues to defy all odds daily. His neurological challenges are no match for his desire to complete certain milestones. We have set up special temporary kennels for his outside time so that he's able to navigate around without complications. Today was a little different, Jack Jack and I spent time in the big park. With extra time for me to stay close by and monitor him, he explored around the park with excitement. It's the small things we do as a crew that makes a big difference. 2018 was a tremendous year for Straydog, adoption rates were at a all time high and our vision for a new Hospital to house senior dogs and our dogs in need of rehabilitation became a reality. We were able to provide and afford medical attention to more rescues than ever. Also, through a great partnership, Straydog was able to get more puppies adopted out than that of previous years. There were numerous goals that we were able to achieve, the list could go on and on. Unfortunately, with all the success and highs in 2018, Straydog’s operating funds are at a all time low. We as a nonprofit rely on donations to continue our mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and restoring what was taken from these beautiful animals. As with Jack Jack, we take pride in taking on all challenging situations. Straydog currently houses blind dogs, deaf dogs and dogs without limbs. When the world gave up on them, we didn't. They count on us, can we count on you? Help us continue our mission of love and compassion by donating, sharing our post and tagging your friends. It's the small things we do together that makes a big difference, if you don't believe me ask Jack Jack.

One of my many favorite dogs here at Straydog is my Chip boy. He always wants to sit in your lap or be held like a baby while you scratch his belly. He has the best personality I have ever seen in a dog. Although he’s a little timid at first, he warms up to you very quickly! He would love to have a family of his own and be their big goof ball.

Banjo was looking extra handsome today. He was just wanting handshakes (he’s good at that) and his cookies of course!
