Ronnie reports that it's 104 degrees outside, but thanks to the generosity of contributors and the new a/c unit in our Hospital Two, 8 year old Sam is sleeping comfortably at a cool 70 degrees. I'm assuming he's dreaming of a house surrounded by a white picket fence and family to love him. In the meantime he's enjoying his daily naps.
Emma absolutely loves being inside now but lately we have noticed she hasn’t been eating very well and having a hard time chewing. I soaked her food with water after we tried our usual routine (hard food, gravy, and canned food mixed). I also tried hand feeding her and noticed she was really struggling to chew so we made the decision to give her just canned food and she ate it up and now she’s back to her sassy little self.
Sunny has such spunk and is so eager to please you. He loves to play hide and seek and his attitude is always great. He has such a beautiful and happy smile.
I had planned on trimming Shooby's nails today but she was not having it at all. She turned it into a game, she would nibble my fingers to distract me and then knock the clippers out of my hand. Not only was her tactic clever, it was insanely adorable as well.
