Help, I've fallen and I can't get up. Not really, Mr. Demon has a creative way of sleeping. After multiple adventures to the Pat Arnold Park throughout the day, his energy starts to diminish due to his age. This doesn't seem to stop him from enjoying the outdoors one bit. When he was younger, Mr. Demon earned his name and has well lived up to it. Now that he's aged his aggressive attitude has subsided tremendously, to the point where we could probably call him Mr. Angel and it would fit him perfect.
It's been a rough summer for Aggie and MoMo. With them still in quarantine due to the ringworm fungus, MoMo is starting to seem rather miserable. I couldn't even coax him out of his house until late this afternoon when he finally came to see me for cookies. I really hope these two are better soon. I can't wait to see them in the park again.

Today Gina just followed me all around the park. This pretty girl loves her park time and I love playing with her while she's in the park.
Fred melted my heart today. I walked into his kennel and offered him my hand to hold, as usual, but today he declined. Instead he wanted nothing but to lean against me and lay his head on my shoulder. It must be the dreary weather turning his normal high energy into a mellow and snuggly Fred.
Today is my lovely wife's birthday, Happy Birthday Love! Being that it falls in September we've made it a tradition to spend it together with our 3 beautiful kids at our favorite restaurant. This wouldn't be possible without the generosity of loyal contributors who donate to the sanctuary. Your donations not only provide our dogs with endless medical care and food in addition to shelter for 160 plus dogs, it also provides the dedicated employees of Straydog with so much more than you could ever imagine. From our families at home and our family at Straydog who share everything from birthdays to funerals, first day of school to last day at work, happy days and sad days, we extend our gratitude and thanks for your kindness and giving hearts. Please visit Straydog.org, where you can make our mission your mission too.
