Caddo Comes Home To Straydog
Our caregivers will give him nothing but care, dedication and lots of love in addition to three meals per day until he gains his weight back to normal (special needs like Caddo, under weight or puppies get three meals per day), then he will be eating like most of our normal dogs, twice per day.
He will get park walks, lots of caregiving time (which means personal one on one petting him, loving him, giving him treats, brushing him if he allows us to and eventually trimming nails and bathing him), he will get trips to the vet and we will be doing this until he heals completely of these open wounds. His heartworm treatment has started so he won’t be able to run free in the park but we won’t be doing that anyway until he learns this is home, plus he can’t be left lose without a leash because of the treatment he is going through. There’s a lot of good stuff already happening to lucky dog Caddo. We all already feel a special love for him, he for sure had a rough beginning of this young life but that’s all over with, it’s time for the good life to start here at Straydog!
